All prices are subject to change without notice and subject to a delivery charge specified at the time of ordering. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all orders are executed subject to prices ruling at the date of dispatch and no price list of the Company, whether published or not, shall affect the right of the Company to charge for the goods in accordance with this clause. The delivery charges on internet orders are based on delivery in UK mainland (excluding some postcodes) so there will be extra charges if delivery is required elsewhere.( We can arrange delivery to many countries of the world). The consumer will be informed of the total price of the order before being binding and if there are any price changes before delivery then the consumer will have the option to cancel their order and get their money back. Any clerical or error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list (including the Internet), acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by the company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the company.Website prices may be different to our shop prices.


Web order may be placed 24/ 7 please see section: 5 for delivery details. We try to process all orders as quickly as possible usually within 48 hours of receipt of order unless items are out of stock. If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to offer you an alternative or a refund, for this reason, it is important you give us a correct phone number or email address. Confirmation of telephone instructions should be clearly marked as such, otherwise any additional expense incurred as a result of duplication of orders will be payable by the buyer.


All payments are in UK pounds £ sterling.We accept all major Credit and Debit cards, as well as PayPal.In the case of goods purchased by credit card, (in order to protect you, we carry out extensive checks to ensure that your card is not being used fraudulently) all credit card details are held on a secure server and are deleted immediately after processing.


Acceptance of cancellation of an order shall be at the discretion of the Company and any such acceptance may be subject to payment by the buyer of a cancellation charge, representing the Company’s administrative costs involved. In certain instances where the Company has spent considerable effort in obtaining goods specially requested for by the customer, the Company might decide at its discretion not to allow cancellation of such order.


Delivery dates & time are given in good faith by the Company to indicate estimated delivery times but shall not amount to any contractual obligation to deliver at the time stated and is subject to payment clearance, locality, human error, courier company error and system failure. All Standard delivery are 1-3 working days from date of dispatch.

The Company disclaims all liability for any direct or consequential loss or damage arising from delivery delays or instances where the Customer is unavailable to provide a signature upon delivery. In cases involving perishable goods, parcels will be deposited in a secure location on the customer’s premises. We cannot be held accountable for any spoilage or loss of goods resulting from the customer’s absence during the delivery.

ParcelForce couriers will send you an email confirmation about your order as soon as it has been processed. If you are not in at the time of delivery and you didn’t select any option, ParcelForce couriers will leave a card with information about your re-delivery options, or option to collect from the nearest ParcelForce couriers Depot. An additional delivery charge of £6.90 for the third delivery attempt. To avoid the delay this may cause, we advise getting your parcel delivered to a work address.

For collection orders paid by credit card the cardholder must be present before or on collection.

Our online order cut-off time is 12pm on Thursday. If you opt for Saturday delivery, there’s an additional charge of £10 (plus VAT), excluding perishable items. Please keep in mind that while we offer Saturday delivery, we can’t guarantee its availability since it’s managed by a third party.

Due to the perishable nature of some of our fresh meat products, we dispatch meat products frozen packed with ice packs in a special insulated container, so the product will reach you in the best possible condition. Please note: St. Marcus cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products. Due to the weather conditions or a delayed courier service, it’s possible for it to thaw, so please keep that in mind when ordering large quantities.

All product weights for delivery are calculated including any product packaging (jars, bottles, packets) and postage packaging e.g. 500g of Boerewors + icepack + packaging = delivery charge.

You must notify us within 24 hours of dispatch notification if you have not received your goods.

We also take every care to ensure products are sent in a good condition and packed securely, so it will be at the Company’s discretion whether, or not to replace damaged goods due to the courier’s negligence.


At the moment, we are unable to delivery to the EU; as such, we will reach out to individual customers who place orders for overseas delivery. Although we try to deliver all dried meat products and dry goods anywhere in Europe, fresh meat products like sausages or steaks can only be delivered within the UK or at your own risk.


All orders will be subject to carriage charges. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the company or as part of a promotion. The carriage charges are subject to change without notice. This additional charge will not be refundable in the event of any dispute arising on the contract.

UK Mainland Standard Delivery (up to 15kg): £6.90 (inc VAT) (1-2 working days)
UK Mainland Standard Delivery of £75.00 (excl. VAT) or more (up to 15kg): Free (1-2 working days)

UK Mainland Weekend Delivery (up to 15kg): £10.00 (plus VAT)

Weight surcharge:

Any damage to goods in transit should be notified to the carriers immediately and to the Company within 24 hours of receipt. A request for refund must be made via email and within 14 days of receiving the goods. Packaging and contents must be held for inspection, on-receipt of goods to be notified within 24 hours of receipt of invoice. If the buyer is a consumer then a reasonable time will be allowed to inspect the goods to ensure the order complies with The Sale of Goods Act 1979.


Where chargeable, Value Added Tax will be charged at the rate applicable at the date of dispatch.


We endeavour at all times to ensure our manufactured products are of the highest standard. If, however, we have not met your expectations, please let us know and we will gladly arrange a refund for you. Do not throw away the product you deem as faulty, send the product back to us, and we will arrange a redelivery/refund.

Please note that due to the perishable nature of some of our imported products, especially the baked goods; we may not be able to offer refunds on some of these products if they are already opened.

Any requests for refunds must be made within 14 days of receipt of the order. Delivery charges are not included in any refund policy and the customer is responsible for the costs of returning any goods, unless otherwise decided by St Marcus Fine Foods Limited.

When visitors use the website, information such as the ISP’s domain, the time accessed and the pages visited will be stored by us. This is to analyse the web traffic and improve content of the site.

From time to time we may send you promotional & discount emails. You will be given the option to unsubscribe from receiving these emails. We will not send you third party emails or give your details to third parties.


In the unlikely event that you have a complaint with our product, please notify us by email within 14 days of receipt of your order, giving full details of the condition of goods and packaging. We will require a return of the products for our documentation to quality for further investigation.

All complaints will be dealt with on merit, and refunds or replacements will be made at the discretion of the management. Claims and complaints made after this period may not be entertained. Failure to notify us within this time period will void our guarantee.

Clothing/apparel items are all inspected on return. If they are without tags and original duster bags, no refund can be applied. Again, for eligibility of a refund and return of an item, St Marcus must be notified by email 14 days of receipt of your order.


We have an effective security policy that we review regularly. All credit card details that are given to us by you, the customer, are done so on a secure server. In addition, please note that we do not store any of your credit card details.
