The story of Marina Braai Salts goes back to over forty years ago. Owner, Gert Schoombie saw an opportunity to turn a small family run business into a national supplier of salt. With the saltpans exposed to the South African element, Schoombie often spoke fondly of the ‘miracle’ of the effects it had on the salt. With a great passion for the industry and an innovative and customer-orientated outlook, he created the business we have come to know and love.
