Delivery Information

Last orders before Christmas are accepted until 2pm on Friday 21 December. Parcels will be delivered either on Saturday the 22nd (at the standard Saturday delivery charge), or on Monday 24 December.

Orders placed between the 22nd and 27th of December will be sent out on the 27th for delivery on Friday the 28th of December.

Orders and deliveries will go back to normal on Wednesday 2 January 2019.

Our staff’s already cracking on, making sure your order is in tip top shape before we get it ready for dispatch.  In the meantime, we thought we’d give you information as to what happens next.

Once we dispatch your order, you’ll receive a ‘Completed‘ email. This simply means Streetwise Couriers have collected it from us and that it should be with you the following day. Please note that Next Day delivery is only on orders placed Monday to Thursday by 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday and over the weekend, will be processed and packed for delivery on Tuesday.

Delivery could be anytime between 9am and 4pm and unfortunately, our courier service will contact you with specific delivery slots. Therefore, please ensure you give us correct contact info to pass onto the third party couriers.

Streetwise does require a signature for deliveries. If you’re not in at the time of delivery, they will leave a calling card with a number for you to reach them on to discuss re-delivery or collection. To avoid the delay this may cause, we advise getting it delivered to a work address. If you would like your parcel left safe, please let us know on the same day you’ve placed the order. We will make a note on the dispatch label, but cannot guarantee that the courier will leave it safe. This would still be up to their driver’s discretion.

Please note, St. Marcus cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products. All our produce are dispatched frozen with frozen best before dates. We do not recommend that you refreeze them. Due to the weather conditions or a delayed courier service, it’s possible for it to thaw, so please keep that in mind when ordering large quantities. We also take every care to ensure products are sent in a good condition and packed securely, so it will be at the Company’s discretion whether, or not to replace damaged goods due to the courier’s negligence.

In the unlikely event that any products on your order are out of stock, we will call you using the contact number given to discuss alternatives. Please make sure that the contact number is kept up to date, as this could cause a delay in the delivery of your order.

International orders could take anywhere between 2 – 5 working days. Therefore, we wouldn’t advise ordering perishable meat such as boerewors – this will be on own risk and we can’t be held responsible for damage incurred to goods.

Please be advised that due to legal restrictions we cannot dispatch any alcohol drinks to countries outside the European Union.

Please note, on the rare occasion that an order exceeds that maximum weight of 20kg, postage is 26p per Kg over.
