Delivery Information

DEAR VALUED CUSTOMER, DUE TO HIGHER THAN USUAL ORDER LEVELS & COURIER DELIVERIES IN THE WAKE OF THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DELIVERIES CAN BE DELAYED. PLEASE STAY SAFE!

Our staff’s already cracking on, making sure your order is in tip top shape before we get it ready for dispatch.  In the meantime, we thought we’d give you information as to what happens next.

Once we dispatch your order, you’ll receive a ‘Completed‘ email. This simply means our Couriers have collected it from us and that it should be with you within 1-3 working days. Orders placed after 1pm on a Thursday and over the weekend, will be processed and packed the following Monday.

Delivery could be anytime between 7am and 7pm and our courier service will contact you with specific delivery slots. Therefore, please ensure you give us correct contact info to pass onto the third party couriers.

The cut off time for Saturday deliveries is up until Friday at 13:00

Signature is required for ALL deliveries, therefore we can’t accept special requests as “leave it in a safe place, etc.” Parcelforce Couriers will send you an email confirmation about your order as soon as it has been processed and you will be able to choose one of the following options if you’re not in to receive your parcel:

1.) Deliver to a Neighbour

2.) Deliver to the nearest Post Office

3.) Deliver the next working day

If you are not in at the time of delivery and you didn’t select any option, Parcelforce will leave a card with information about your re-delivery options, or option to collect from the nearest Parcelforce Depot.

To avoid the delay this may cause, we advise getting your parcel delivered to a work address. If you would like your parcel left safe, please let us know on the same day you’ve placed your order. We will make a note on the dispatch label, but cannot guarantee that the courier will leave it safe. This would still be up to their driver’s discretion.

Please note, St. Marcus cannot be held responsible for defrosted meat products. All our produce are dispatched frozen with frozen best before dates. We do not recommend that you refreeze them. Due to the weather conditions or a delayed courier service, it’s possible for it to thaw, so please keep that in mind when ordering large quantities. We also take every care to ensure products are sent in a good condition and packed securely, so it will be at the Company’s discretion whether, or not to replace damaged goods due to the courier’s negligence.

In the unlikely event that any products on your order are out of stock, we will call you using the contact number given to discuss alternatives. Please make sure that the contact number is kept up to date, as this could cause a delay in the delivery of your order.

International orders could take anywhere between 2 – 5 working days. Therefore, we wouldn’t advise ordering perishable meat such as boerewors – this will be on own risk and we can’t be held responsible for damage incurred to goods.

Please be advised that due to legal restrictions we cannot dispatch any alcohol drinks to countries outside the European Union.

UK Mainland Standard Delivery of £75.00 (excl. VAT) or more: Free (1-3 working days)
