“The story of Robertson Winery William Robertson Shiraz starts in the town of Robertson was established in 1852, and the vineyard 90 years later. The winery is a co-op with 40 members, specialising in slightly lighter wines, rather than the more traditional heavy-duty styles normally associated with South Africa.
Versatile with food, this mouthwatering Shiraz pairs particularly well with venison dishes and fruity, Moroccan tagine.
Surprisingly light and very fresh with hints of black pepper and full of ripe red fruits. Robertson Winery William Robertson Shiraz is full-bodied wine shows freshly crushed black pepper aromas with hints of cinnamon and cloves on the nose with lots of brambly red berry fruit, rich mulberry and well-integrated vanilla tones.”
