Meerlust Pinot Noir is true to the pinot fruit flavours with hints of musks and cherry. The translucent, purple-ruby appearance also makes for an attractive wine.
The Meerlust Pinot Noir can be served with white and red meats, parma ham, grilled line fish, tuna, wild mushrooms and traditional cheese.
Meerlust Estate has been in the Myburgh family for over 200 years. As it was founded in 1756, it’s fair to say they have a healthy chunk of experience under their belts. With the estate situated fifteen kilometers away from Stellenbosch, it’s perfectly positioned for the ocean breeze to cool the vineyard. Now, it’s run by an eight generation Myburgh and Hannes is still as dedicated to superb winemaking as the generations that came before.
