Chocolate Mallow Easter egg fridge bars

An easy no-bake Easter treat made with rich chocolate and soft mallow eggs. These fridge bars are indulgent, perfectly sweet, and ideal for slicing up and sharing over the Easter weekend.

Ingredients

  • 400 g shortbread biscuits — crushed
  • 6 tbs butter — melted

FILLING:

  • 200 g butter — chopped
  • 600 g dark chocolate — chopped
  • 1 condensed milk — tinned, sweetened
  • 12 Beacon Mallow Eggs

Method

  1. Mix the crushed biscuits and melted butter together until well combined.
  2. Press into the base of a 20 x 30cm tin which has been lined with baking paper. Refrigerate until set.
  3. Arrange the marshmallow easter eggs over the base of the biscuits.
  4. Melt the butter, chocolate and condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Allow to cool until slightly warm.
  5. Pour over the marshmallow eggs and biscuit base. Refrigerate until set.
  6. Cut into bars and serve.
