Ina Lessing Green Fig Preserve started up with Lessing Konfyte started as a hobby, under the canopy with 2 pots!  It is now 20 years later and has led to a giant business venture.

Ina Lessing has been canning fruits, vegetables and cooking a wide variety of jams since 1990.  In 2013/14, Ina was named Salam / Lanbouweekblad’s women entrepreneur.

With a deep-rooted faith and with it confidence and plans as well as sometimes taking chances and showing a lot of initiative, everything contributed to the success, what this jam business is today.  It’s a lot of positivity, family support and a truckload of love that makes it sustainable.  The cooking and pickling is on Modimolle and the packaging and distribution take place from Centurion.
