ProNutro Cereals initially came into fruition in 1937, when Dr. Fox realised the need for a breakfast that would fend off malnutrition. As such, it’s a good source of quality protein, vitamins, minerals, and nutraceuticals, containing Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Biotin, Folic acid.

The Bokomo Cereals are part of Premier Foods. The Atwell Bakery mill was founded in 1820 that then gave life to Snowflake that came to life in 1882. The mill and Atwell Bakery merged together in 1891. By 1924, a new mill had opened in Salt River and the brand continued to flourish. In 1982, the opening of a new mill in Johannesburg was celebrated and in 1984 Premier Food Industries was officially formed. Lasting until 1998 before General Food Industries Limited finally purchased Premier Food Industries Limited. Finally merging into Premier Foods Limited (Premier Foods). As a result, the brand continues to expand their range to include items like Bokomo ProNutro Cereals.
