Amazing Biltong Pasta Recipe – you HAVE to try it!

YOU WILL NOT REGRET TRYING THIS DELICIOUSLY CREAMY BILTONG PASTA!
THIS RECIPE SERVES 3-6
INGREDIENTS
1 X PACK OF PASTA
1 CUP OF PARMESAN OR OTHER HARD CHEESE
2 TABLESPOONS OF CRUSHED PEPPER
500G OF BILTONG
FRESH BASIL (OR DRIED IN A PINCH)
1 CLOVE OF CRUSHED GARLIC
METHOD

BOIL YOUR PASTA IN SALTED WATER. USE ENOUGH WATER TO JUST COVER THE PASTA AND SALT WITH 2 TEASPOONS. MAKE SURE TO COOK AL DENTE AS PER THE PACKET INSTRUCTIONS

IN A SAUCEPAN, USE SOME OF THE PASTA WATER AND ON MEDIUM HEAT, INFUSE THE WATER WITH THE CRUSHED PEPPER AND GARLIC BY COOKING IT FOR AROUND 3 TO 5 MINUTES

ADD 250ML OF CREAM

LET SIMMER DOWN AND START ADDING THE CHEESE. STIR OCCASIONALLY TO DETERMINE HOW THICK YOU WANT YOUR SAUCE

AFTER SIMMERING FOR A BIT (ABOUT 3 MIN), START ADDING YOUR BILTONG

AT THIS POINT, ADJUST YOUR SAUCE – IF TOO THICK, ADD CREAM OR PASTA WATER. IF TOO THIN, ADD BILTONG OR CHEESE

FINISH OFF THE SAUCE WITH BASIL

IN A MIXING BOWL, MIX THE DRAINED PASTA WITH THE SAUCE

SERVE WITH PARMESAN AND BASIL SPRINKLED OVER
