Biltong is a fantastic energy snack for when your on the move, hiking, camping, fishing etc or as a healthy snack food while sitting back enjoying your favourite DVD. Due to the nature of the curing process nearly all of the meats nutrients and minerals are retained in the biltong, unlike when meat is cooked, thus making biltong a very nutritious source of food that can be stored for a long time.
