The Fairview Goats Do Roam has a fresh berry aroma, while the berry flavours are integrated with oak tannins. This makes for a beautifully balanced wine with a soft finish.
Funnily enough, this Fairview Goats Do Roam is best paired with Goat’s cheese.
The land, enriched with history has existed for as long as man can tell. However, it was in 1699 that the first official tax record reflected wine on its inventory list. Known as Bloemkoolfontein, or Cauliflower Fountain, the name was later (and as the owner says, thankfully) changed. Now owned by Charles Back, it was his grandfather who purchased the property from the Hugo family in 1937.
