What started out as Bellinchamp in 1693, was founded by Gerrit Janz van Vuuren and his wife. Planting 1000 vines, they passed the estate down through the generations. In 1943, however, Bernard and Fredagh Podlashuk puchased the estate and restored it, turning it into the Bellingham Estate we now know.
