Rhodes Granadilla Pulp – or Passion Fruit as it’s known here – is just the right balance of sweet and sour. Making it perfect for desserts that are otherwise overwhelmingly sweet – like meringues.
Believe it or not, but the Rhodes story started all the way back in 1896, when Rhodes Fruit Farms Ltd. was established. Eleven years later it opened it’s first cannery in Cape Town, producing tinned fruits. Fast forward to 1999 and it changes to Rhodes Food Group Ltd. From there, the company acquired a number of food groups, becoming one of the largest companies in South Africa.
