The All Gold Tomato Sauce story starts back in 1908. The recipe was first brought to South African shores by a Scottish chemist. John Semble took it straight to a jam manufacturing company in Paarl, names H. Jones and Company. There it was made by lowering muslin bags filled with herbs and spices into pots of ripe, freshly crushed tomatoes. It was only 51 years later, that All Gold went into mass production. Of course, the range has also expanded to include jams and other great products.
